This Sunday at 10:00 am service, Olivia Hunt will grace us with beautiful music from her cello. Please join us!


Cellist Olivia Hunt grew up outside of Atlanta, where she began her musical studies at the age of nine. Since picking up the cello, she has performed with a variety of ensembles including the Nashville Sinfonietta and Eschaton New Music Ensemble, taught private lessons at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and spent a semester studying abroad at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music where she studied with Felix Wang and performed in masterclasses taught by artists such as Edgar Meyer, Jeffrey Lastrapes, Brandon Vamos, and Martha Baldwin. Her past summers have been spent at various festivals including the Vanderbilt Music Académie in Aix-en-Provence, France, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, National Music Festival, Cincinnati Young Artists Cello Workshop, Montecito International Music Festival, and the Brancaleoni International Music Festival. Currently, she is pursuing a masters degree at Indiana University under the instruction of Eric Kim.
