Hospitality

Hospitality is the heart of Nativity as a parish. We are warm, welcoming, and supportive. When newcomers or long term parishioners are asked to describe Nativity "welcoming" is the word that is used repeatedly. So why have a separate "hospitality" ministry? We find that those who are friendly and extraverted thrive on creating a warm welcoming environment at a church event. Often that environment involves providing snacks or meals, and these members love to cook or bake, and share. So if you are interested in helping contact the us below.

USHERS AND GREETERS:
Our ushers are often the first to meet people coming into the church and are called to make people feel comfortable and welcome. They not only offer bulletins or other materials for worship, but help people navigate the worship space, hymnals, and prayer book. They also invite those interested in coffee hour after Sunday worship. They truly act as the 'hosts' to God's table.. If interested in this ministry contact us below.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is powerful and healing. "Amen Amen I say to you, whatever you ask from the Father, He will give it to you in My name” (John 16::23) Our "prayer warriors" pray for others...for the sick, the troubled, those facing surgery. No need is too small. Some of the members of this ministry want to contribute, and this is a powerful, loving way to do so, no matter your situation. Contact us below.
