What is Godly Play?
Godly Play is a gentle and worshipful invitation not just to play, but to explore and wonder about the stories of God’s people, the stories Jesus told and to make the connections between these and our worship.
This program is founded in the expectation of, and belief in, the child's capacity for spiritual response. It allows children to explore Bible stories and Christian worship traditions in their own way and at their own level. The circle of children learn through storytelling, wondering, reflection and response and, of course, the feast.
